Adventures of an Interplanetary Exchange Student

A college student who published an autobiography. A shy introvert who loves public speaking. A class clown who got straight A's. A geek who's into language, not math and computers. On my planet people don't fit in boxes. Call me an alien studying Earth.

About Me

My photo
Erika Hammerschmidt
I'm the author of the book "Born on the Wrong Planet," an autobiography of my autistic childhood. It was written and published when I was still in college. I have since graduated, moved into an apartment, gotten a job at Target and married John Ricker (http://www.yayinabox.com). Together we have written a science fiction novel, Kea's Flight (http://www.erikahammerschmidt.com/?page_id=35) And yes, I am a Gemini, but Geminis don't believe in astrology.
